Grate or finely mince cabbage, raw or cooked, and stir into mashed potato or porridge. Finely chopped kimchi or sauerkraut work too.
Mix shreds into scoopable foods, or offer a raw rib about two adult-fingers wide for munching. Baby won't swallow much from the rib.
Thin shreds of raw or cooked cabbage support pincer-grasp practice. Cooked cabbage strips also work as finger food. Expect harmless spitting with raw.
Thin shreds, finger-strips, or chopped pieces of cooked cabbage. Cooked chops can stick to the tongue, causing harmless gagging.
Cooked cabbage as you wish: chops, shreds, strips, even whole leaves. Keep raw cabbage shredded or finely chopped for now.
Around 18 months most toddlers handle rough-chopped raw cabbage in many shapes, including large wedges. Cooked cabbage rolls also fine.
