6-9 months

Prep:

Offer cooked, deboned pollock in pieces about two pinky fingers wide and long. Or mix flaked fish with avocado, olive oil, or yogurt.

Cut:

Pieces two pinky fingers wide, deboned. Or flake into soft food.

12-18 months

Prep:

Serve any form of cooked deboned pollock: fillet strips, fish cakes, toast topped with flakes. Pre-load fork if toddler gets frustrated.

Cut:

Strips, cakes, or flakes; bite-sized pieces for fork practice.
