6-9 months

Prep:

Scoop the gelatinous pulp with seeds from ripe passion fruit and stir into warm cereal or yogurt. Avoid serving the pith and skin, which are toxic.

Pulp with seeds, mixed in. No skin, no pith.

9-12 months

Prep:

Continue adding pulp and seeds to yogurt, warm cereals, and other dishes where the tart, acidic fruit will add a punch of flavor.

12-18 months

Prep:

Add pulp and seeds to tropical smoothies for antioxidants. Go easy as the acidity may cause stomach aches or diaper rash.

Cut:

Pulp in smoothies. Limit acidic load.
