Steam or boil edamame, shell the beans, then mash or puree. Thin with breast milk, formula, or olive oil if needed. Serve on its own or on toast strips.

Shell cooked edamame, peel off the thin outer skin, and split each bean in half. Offer halves on the tray for pincer-grasp practice.
