Usually introduced around 6 months
Raw or undercooked broccolini is firm and hard to chew, which raises the choking risk. Cook it until soft, and for younger babies cut the round stalk in half lengthwise.
Offer a whole stalk cooked until soft for baby to grab and munch. You can also cut the stalk in half lengthwise so it is no longer round, or finely chop and mix into a scoopable food.
A whole soft stalk, or halved lengthwise, or finely chopped.
Serve bite-sized pieces of soft cooked broccolini, halved lengthwise to reduce choking risk. You can also keep offering whole soft stalks for biting practice, or finely chop into another food.

Pre-load bite-sized pieces of cooked broccolini onto a utensil. As your child's chewing improves you can cook it a little less and serve it however the family enjoys it.

Most babies can try Broccolini from around 6 months, once they show signs of readiness. Check the prep and cut-size notes above before you start.
