6-9 months

Prep:

Mash a small amount of black garlic with a fork, then stir into mashed sweet potato, soft grains, or eggs to flavor baby's portion.

Cut:

Use sparingly. Mashed or finely chopped, mixed into soft food.

9-12 months

Sauté mashed black garlic in a splash of olive oil, then drizzle the flavored oil over soft grains, eggs, or steamed vegetables.

Cut:

Use small amounts as flavoring in soft, scoopable foods.

12-18 months

Prep:

Use black garlic generously in marinades, dressings, roasted vegetables, or spread roasted cloves on whole grain bread for the toddler.

Cut:

Mashed, sliced, or whole soft cloves spread on bread.
