How to serve by age

6-9 months

Prep:

Cook until fork-tender to remove choking risk. Raw apple is not safe at this age.

Cut:

Cooked apple wedges, or raw grated on the fine side of a box grater.

9-12 months

Prep:

Keep cooking raw apple β€” or grate it β€” until around 2 years.

Cut:

Soft cooked cubes (~1 cm), or fine grated.

12-18 months

Prep:
